Computer vision is the field of [artificial intelligence](https://metavert.io/artificial-intelligence) that enables machines to interpret, understand, and act on visual information—images, video, depth data, and real-time camera feeds. It is the technology that gives [AI agents](https://metavert.io/agentic-ai) and machines the ability to see.
