App & Backend Infrastructure

Agents need places to run and APIs to call. Cloudflare, Vercel, and Fly.io provide edge and serverless infrastructure. Docker and E2B offer sandboxed execution environments for agent code. Hugging Face serves as the distribution hub for open-source models and datasets. Supabase provides instant backend infrastructure with real-time capabilities.

Databases & Vector Stores

AI agents need data — both structured and unstructured. Pinecone and Weaviate provide purpose-built vector databases for semantic search and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG). PostgreSQL with pgvector, MongoDB, and Neon add vector capabilities to traditional databases. Databricks and Snowflake handle enterprise-scale data warehousing and analytics.

Commerce & Enterprise

Salesforce and ServiceNow are embedding agentic capabilities into enterprise CRM and IT workflows. Shopify enables AI-powered commerce, while Stripe handles the payments infrastructure that agents transact through. Scale AI provides data labeling and AI infrastructure services.
